The West Indies women’s team will face Sri Lanka for a three-match T20I series in Hambantota beginning Saturday 15 June; live broadcast will be available via Disney+ Hotstar in India. An ODI match between these sides will then take place at St John’s Darren Sammy Cricket Ground on 17 June; it will mark the first of six between these sides this year, making this crucial to West Indies hopes of qualifying for 2024 ICC Women’s World Cup qualification.

Both teams will aim to win this series to prepare for the T20 Asia Cup starting in October, which Australia have been dominant winners of since its creation. India are unlikely to repeat as champions this time around after beating Australia in the previous edition’s final. They hope instead that at least they make it to semifinals this time.
The tournament will feature 10 umpires and three match referees who are all female, along with DRS and Hawk-eye Smart Replay systems in all 28 matches.
