Wriddhiman Saha launched the home team off quickly in the powerplay by hitting two sixes and four fours before taking an intentional timeout, but on his first post-break ball holed out to Shahbaz Ahmed for four runs.
GT raced towards their target with five balls remaining. Sai Sudharsan led from the front with an outstanding 45 off 41 balls while David Miller and Shubman Gill each contributed 36 runs – it was truly an epic match to close an IPL season!

After winning the toss and electing to bat, SRH quickly set about compiling an impressive total. By utilising an impressive century by Travis Head and an innings from Heinrich Klaasen of 30 balls (67), they reached 266/7 in their 20 overs – which remains unassailable for opponents.
SRH are emerging as one of the premier batting sides in IPL history. After twice surpassing the highest total this season, they do not appear intent on stopping anytime soon.
Suresh Raina suggested that SRH should go for the batting-first approach against KKR in their final matchup, noting the presence of Pat Cummins will be invaluable to their cause – having won an IPL title before, the Australian fast bowler knows how to keep a dressing room running smoothly in an important game. He added that taking advantage of their superior batsmen may lead to their victory on this final day will ultimately come down to who performs better on that particular day. It will certainly be close!

SRH were expected to execute their chase of 163 on a two-paced pitch with precision and ease, yet got off to an unimpressive start when Jos Buttler was hit into slip and Rovman Powell holed out after failing to play Mohit Sharma’s short ball in the first over.
But despite this early setback, the batsmen persisted with their hard work. Wriddhiman Saha led off well before being caught behind by Abhishek Sharma before Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan made solid contributions as cameo players.

Mohit’s accuracy ensured SRH didn’t go on an extravagant run spree and even deceived Travis Head by bowling an effectively disguised googly in his opening over.
Markande became the next to fall when Miller and Sudharsan hit him for fours and sixes respectively, then Miller hit Unadkat over long-on for a superb maximum to further extend GT’s advantage.

The SRH bowlers did an outstanding job limiting the Titans to 162 on a two-paced pitch. Mohit Sharma secured three wickets while Noor and Rashid of Afghanistan’s spin twins Noor and Rashid did well to limit batsmen scoring opportunities.
Shubman Gill and David Miller have made an excellent start in response, taking care to strike against SRH bowlers with brutal accuracy. The visitors need 65 runs off 42 balls to stay alive in this match; currently they appear well in control.

After an underwhelming season, SRH underwent a dramatic makeover that included new coaching regime, players and captain. They hoped this change would turn things around – yet even with Heinrich Klaasen and some young guns showing flashes of brilliance throughout, they ended up with only one wooden spoon between them.
Starting their season off strong by defeating Mumbai Indians in their inaugural match, Delhi Daredevils struggled in subsequent games and experienced many losses.
SRH came into their match against Gujarat Titans without a spinner, yet still bowled nine overs of spin. They conceded only 57 runs over that span and seemed headed towards an easy win until Jaiswal and Parag hit back with some powerful blows that kept SRH at bay for an unlikely win. Their left-right pair are high-quality batters who don’t need ideal entry points to score; Jaiswal in particular built crucial partnerships during death overs assisted by Mohit Sharma’s excellent run outs!

Pat Cummins expressed his displeasure with the performance of SRH batsmen after they were all out for 162. He expected that under lights the ball would move, yet that didn’t occur. Instead he stated that they will work on correcting their flaws and return stronger next time around.
Nitish Reddy and Travis Head had earlier produced remarkable fifties to propel Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to a respectable total, sharing an outstanding 96-run stand off 57 balls between them for the third wicket to help SRH breach 200 for five times this season.
Sai Sudarshan and David Miller made an explosive comeback into the chase by sending sixes sailing off Mayank Markande’s bowling for an instant boost of 66 runs that brought down their deficit from 19 runs in 12 overs.

Simon Helmot of SRH assistant coach noted the bowling unit has shown marked improvements with each outing and was unsurprised at their performance in a nail-biting thriller against RR. They did an outstanding job limiting hosts on an appealing wicket for batsmen.
However, South Road High’s batsmen struggled to convert early starts into big scores; even Head’s 44-ball 58 was not enough to keep his side competitive on an evening where their batters were silenced early.
He did have some lucky breaks, however; Parag’s first-ball drop and Avesh’s opening ball of the fifth over were two that helped him reach fifty. Heinrich Klaasen then hit a six off Avesh’s next delivery to ignite the lower order and form a 70-run stand with Markram before Shardul Thakur caught him off Russell at deep midwicket – effectively ending this 70-run partnership and keeping South Rishi Hills’ hopes alive for an innings totaling 200+ runs.
