Afghanistan required 292 runs from 37.1 overs to defeat Sri Lanka A’s NRR and qualify for the Super-4 stage of ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023. When Mujeeb Ur Rahman was caught at long-on, however, Afghanistan realized they had lost and qualification was no longer in their hands.
