History
Bangladesh cricket team is one of the most beloved international sides. Their rich history features memorable matches and players. First competing at World Cup 1999 against India and South Africa to reach Super Eights; since then winning numerous Asia Cup tournaments as an entertaining side.
Reza-e-Karim, acting secretary of Bangladesh Cricket Control Board (BCCB), wrote to MCC asking to become an Associate Member – this marked the first time they had accepted an Asian team outside the West Indies as Associate Members.
