UAE have participated in many International Cricket Council tournaments and are one of the strongest Associate nations for both ODI and T20I cricket. They hosted the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier as well as reaching the group stage of 2022 World Cup Qualifier Qualifying Competition.
The UAE boasts a large expatriate population and world-class infrastructure, making the nation an international cricket hotbed. Regular ICC events take place there while several IPL matches, Asia Cup games and bilateral series take place there too. As of 2018, UAE ranks 14th for ODI matches played and 16th in T20I events played respectively.

Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill led their side with 29 and 20 runs respectively; both scored sixes and one boundary each to take their score to 60-1 in just 4.3 overs.
Abhishek miscued his initial shot against Siddique but then hit three sixes and one boundary before Sanju Samson caught him at wide midwicket for wide midwicket off Sanju Samson but then unleashed his power by smashing spinner Siddique’s second delivery off spinner Dube’s delivery which then hit sixes over extra cover before finally scoring with Simranjeet Singh hitting his first delivery for another six to finish off this lop-sided win by 10 overs!
