Rajasthan Royals (RR) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
The two teams have met 31 times in IPL history, with Rajasthan Royals winning 14 of them and KKR winning 15. The remaining two matches ended in a tie.
RR beat KKR in both of their last meetings this season to go top of the standings, and a win here would give them an almost-unassailable six-point lead over the Delhi Capitals (DC).
Riyan Parag will take charge of RR for the first time at the Barsapara Stadium – a game that could well decide the fate of both sides’ playoff chances.
He has little to shout about a side that lost its first three games of the tournament and is yet to score more than 200 runs in an innings at home.
Jos Buttler’s unbeaten 107 off 60 balls led RR to 224/8 in their two-wicket win against the Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on Saturday.
