TE Dalton Schultz
C.J. Stroud delivered an impressive pass to tight end Dalton Schultz, who caught it and ran 17 yards into the red zone for an easy touchdown gain. Schultz had already been targeted five times during this game and is one of Texans best receivers this season.
He had four receptions for 84 yards on eight targets during a Wild Card Round matchup against Pittsburgh Steelers and caught one 4-yard touchdown pass from Houston QB C.J. Stroud; making him an appealing fantasy option in deeper leagues.
As was the case last season, the Houston Texans were eliminated by Kansas City Chiefs in their Divisional Round game. Although they started strong, late in the game their performance did not match expectations.
Schultz had two impressive early receptions for 42 yards before leaving with a calf injury in the second quarter. While he should still participate in offseason workouts and training camp activities, his regular season status will depend on when he can return.
Cade Stover, Jayden Higgins, Xavier Hutchinson and Christian Kirk would see an increased workload in the passing game without him, forcing these four players to step up quickly in order to compete against some of the premier tight ends in the AFC.
Unfortunately for Houston in six playoff appearances before now they never got past divisional round – they need big plays from their offense in order to reach further this time around!

After losing three of their first five games, the Chiefs rebounded by winning against St. Louis Rams, New York Jets and Seattle Seahawks.
Their defense dominated against New York Jets as it kept them to six points during a 13-6 win. They broke an NFL record held for over six decades by holding them without second-half touchdowns; running back MacArthur Lane set franchise records of 66 receptions and 1,311 yards during regular season play alone!
After an uncertain start to 2018, the Chiefs eventually showed their true potential by winning four out of six games to push themselves into contention for a playoff berth. Facing off against Denver Broncos who were reigning AFC West champs proved challenging; but, to their credit, their offense surged through two touchdowns for an 11-6 regular season record!
The Chiefs opened up their postseason with a victory against Indianapolis Colts in a divisional round game and secured their third straight AFC West title.
Next they faced off against Oakland Raiders – with whom they faced off for an AFL Championship Game – winning 31-13 to gain entry into round two of playoffs with an automatic bye.
During the off-season, the Kansas City Chiefs traded defensive lineman Buck Buchanan to the New Orleans Saints for running back Jim Brown, and hired veteran coach Herm Edwards as their head coach.
Edwards then revamped their defense by recruiting future Pro Bowl cornerback Kevin Ross and Albert Lewis while also adding safeties Lloyd Burruss and Deron Cherry – two young players he would bring into their defense to reshape it further.
The Chiefs recruited Jack Steadman as their new general manager and selected rookie running back Dee Ford with the 20th selection in this year’s draft. Furthermore, free agent signings such as Frank Gore and Brandon Marshall helped cement this team’s goal to reach the Super Bowl.
